Portraits, seemingly simple representations of people’s likeness have a deeper and complex nature.  Historically portraiture by painting was used for figure heads or rulers. 

With the advent of photography, portraiture became much more widespread and popular.  Modern day portraiture has many applications and uses from family portraits to commercial portraits. 

Our approach to portraiture is to adjust to each application and create the appropriate look for the portrait.  One of the most important aspects of portrait photography is to translate a subjects personal in a single image without words.  Portraits require not only technical skill but also the ability to interact and gain the trust of the subject to capture relaxed and genuine portraits.
