If we had to use one word to describe this couple it would be: Surprise! Let us explain. When we first met them they gave us the impression of your average young couple ready to make the journey into a new life together. Simple soft spoken and unassuming maybe. We’d been emailing back and forth as we’d had challenges with weather and work schedules as Eilleen was hoping to catch the ever popular Cherry Blossoms in Vancouver. By the time we finally had a date for their shoot we were a week too late but we were right into the full swing of a beautiful spring in Vancouver.
It had been some time since our first meeting and when we greeted them at our first location, the charming Arbutus Coffee, we were, pleasantly surprised! They looked just like a couple from a magazine shoot. We got right to shooting and they warmed up in no time and their “couples personality” came through in full colour. The quiet and unassuming couple became a stylish, sweet, affectionate couple who joked with us and laughed all the way until sundown.
It goes without saying that we are looking forward to being part of their wedding day.
